The Association of Friends of the Aiguamolls and Natural Heritage of Empordà (AAPNE) has announced a new seabird photography course, to be held on November 8 and 9, 2025 at Hotel Cala Jóncols in Roses, and a nature video course for the following weekend.
The photography course, proposed by the association for November 8 and 9, is aimed both at beginners in bird photography and experienced photographers who wish to improve technical and artistic aspects or deepen the relationship between photography and conservation. The program includes accommodation at Hotel Cala Jóncols and offers the possibility for participants to attend with companions, who may also join the Sunday boat trip. The activity will be led by photographer Rafael Armada, specialized in nature and marine wildlife, and will combine a theoretical session with a practical boat trip to capture images of birds in their natural habitat.
The following weekend, AAPNE offers a new course in the audiovisual field, with Alejandra Rendón, who will conduct a workshop to delve into nature video production.
With these courses, AAPNE strengthens its goal of promoting photography and video as tools for environmental awareness and the preservation of marine ecosystems and nature.
The initiative is supported by the international Mediterranean photography contest MedFoto and Hotel Cala Jóncols, a pioneering establishment in ecotourism and circular economy, distinguished with the Biosphere certification for its good environmental practices.
