Description: Juvenile pearly razorfish photographed on a sandy seabed in Tossa de Mar. For many years, I had stopped seeing this species, which is highly prized for its meat and suffers from intense fishing pressure. This autumn, I was lucky to find several juveniles of this shy animal, which would hide under the sand when I approached.
